Full description

The geospatial mapping tool provides links to a range of datasets provided by Western Power, including sub-station locations, distribution and transmission lines, power stations, restricted zones, and electrical enclosures relevant to the Western Power supply area. Generation connection capacity is also provided for zone substations, with forecasts out to 2036. The map is supplemented with LGA boundaries, and may be integrated with data from the ArcGIS Online database or from other geospatial data sources. Additional data held by Western Power may be accessed through the Data Download link and integrated into the map (add the relevant Web Map Service URL through the Add Data tool).

Note that each datasets displayed may have their own usage terms, licenses and update frequencies. As such, it is recommended that specific terms for each relevant dataset is reviewed by users.
