Full description

Based on temperature and humidity data from more than 600 Bureau of Meteorology ground stations, this dataset highlights how building heating and cooling requirements have changed across Australia over the last twenty years. Data and an interactive Tableau dashboard exploring twenty-year trends is provided. A slide-deck provides methodological detail and highlights trends at both ten- and twenty-year time frames, and explores correlations with population, land-use and environmental characteristics.
