Full description

A summary of key findings and results from a survey on transport options and electric vehicles, conducted using the CSIRO Energise app. The CSIRO Energise app enables on-demand, near-real-time delivery and capture of surveys through a user-friendly interface, and has been specifically developed to allow Australian households to contribute to national energy research through responses to short surveys on topics related to household energy behaviour and sentiment.

In this slide-deck, results from a mixed-method analysis are presented to explore the key drivers and barriers for uptake of electric vehicles in Australia. Key findings are based on the survey responses received from hundreds of participants across Australia. Quantitative and qualitative approaches are combined to provide a richer and deeper examination of the topic. This includes a thematic analysis of key themes expressed in participants’ open-ended comments to survey questions. Results include tables and bar chart visualisations showing basic descriptive statistics (e.g. percentages) for survey questions.
