Based on readings from 9.1 million meters, the data (collected as part of the Clean Energy Futures Program) provides annual snapshots of residential electricity consumption for 2010, 2011 and 2012. The data presents annual energy consumption and generation quintiles, medians and means for multiple ABS statistical areas (SA2, SA3 and SA4) and across eight climate zones. Data for generating and non-generating meters is presented separately. Gross metering data is provided for NSW, otherwise net metering is reported.
