Full description

Reporting on the prediction of residential air-conditioner use at half-hour intervals from whole of house interval (smart) electricity meter data. The prediction approach is informed by local (outdoor) comfort condition estimates and observations about how household energy consumption is deviating from typical (mild day) behaviour. The approach is validated against real household air conditioning and energy consumption data.

A summary report and conference presentation is provided.
