Net Use of Energy over Time
Net use of energy by fuel type and sector over time, as taken from the ABS Energy Account, Australia (EAA).
The data provides an estimate of net energy use for key industrial sectors and for residential households. Energy use by specific fuel types is provided, including coal, gas, liquid fuels, renewable sources, uranium ad electricity. The data provides a snapshot of annual usage from 2002-03 to 2014-15. The data also includes the export of fuels.
Note that, due to recent revisions to the Australian Energy Statistics methodology, data for 2008-09 to 2014-15 may be different to previously published numbers.
